Historyisgood4you.com – This has been my teacher website since year one of my teaching career. It has undergone several revisions over time. It has always been a great resource for students, parents, and history lovers alike.

Digital Direct Email Newsletter – For multiple years I have gathered student and parent emails for use in sending out a regular email newsletter to both my students and my parents. Their are a variety of tools out there. I am currently using a service called mailchimp.com.
Use of Social Media in the Classroom – I have social media sites that I have used in the classroom. Links for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter can be found below. Modeling best practices of Social media use is one of the best things we can do for our students today.
I have been the sponsor of Thomas Jefferson’s Student Council Association for over 6 years now. Helping students better understand how we can advocate for ourselves and other worthy causes has been very rewarding for me.
Over the years we have organized food drives for the needy, school spirit activities, fund raisers, Black History Month programs, Veteran’s Day programs, and a care package drive for a Thomas Jefferson Alumni and his troops deployed to Afghanistan.
