Most Improved New Teacher 2008-2009

Teaching American History Academy Participant- 2008-2016 “TAHA” was a grant funded program which engaged a community of teachers in Richmond Public Schools in a variety of activities to help them develop. This included college coursework, significant history travel, curriculum development, mentoring by more experienced professionals, opportunities to speak at professional conferences, lectures by noted authors and historic figures, as well as a vast array of professional development training opportunities. This was an unforgettable opportunity which I am grateful to have participated in.
